The third annual Ames Main Street Farmers’ Market (AMSFM) is bigger, more dynamic, better than ever, and starts Saturday, May 4, 2013, from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on the 400 block of Main Street.

Opening day will feature over 30 vendors, Sean Barber providing live entertainment as well as Second Chair Brass, YPA Kids Zone, Becky Ringsby will be hosting a cooking demonstration, and of course prepared food options serving both breakfast and lunch. As a commencement to the start of the Farmers’ Market tradition, there will be a ceremonial Ribbon Cutting held at 9 a.m.

The first 50 people to arrive at the Market and purchase an item from one of the vendors will be given a cloth AMSFM bag for all their goodies.
